Trying CODEX on a project and comparing my experience to Claude Code. CODEX can get stuck in a situation where there is no solution and we just have to abandon after wasting a lot of time in troubleshooting. Also it is much weaker in CSS and visual design.

I treat the 'no solution' loop as a stop-condition bug. Before a third repair attempt, my agent has to write: failing repro, suspected invariant, exact command that proves the fix. If it can't, the next action is asking for missing info, not more troubleshooting.
